Together, they have contributed to keynote sessions and panel discussions at events like the 5th International Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (FBAS 2025) in Beijing, “Awakened Campus Global 2024” at Columbia University, Teachers College, and the “Alliance of Alliance” summit at Sichuan University, China—where ABBSSM served on the steering committee for CSR, water, and disaster management.
As a group, they hold positions such as Steering Committee Member for the Alliance of International Science Organizations on Disaster Risk Reduction (ANSO DRR), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and have played foundational roles in establishing IDRiM Regional Chapter India and the Mahatma Gandhi International Research Centre for Conflict Prevention and Management (in collaboration with Binghamton University).
ABBS School of Management contributed to the Blue-Green Infrastructure Project by leading its implementation at Bowring Institute, Bangalore, in partnership with IIT Roorkee and IIT BHU. The Institute provided expertise in community participation, application of emerging tools and technology, and coordinated water-sensitive campus development, focusing on best practices in sustainable urban design and nature-based rejuvenation. The project outcome included promoting water resilience, user-centric urban improvement, and inspiring similar initiatives through stakeholder engagement and transparent information sharing.
