About the Visit:
HR Conclave as the modern employee must have quick learning skills, adapt, and equip himself with the qualities of a team leader, team player, and somebody who is prepared to work with individuals from different cultures in a symbiotic workplace. The purpose of this conclave was to better understand what HR professionals look for in a job field from the perspective of the employee, the industry, experience, professional skill sets, etc.
The discussion of VUCA vs. VUCAS from the perspective of Mr. Amit Sachdev made for a really intriguing session.
Mr. Amith began by emphasizing the importance of “Learn, Unlearn, and Relearn,” and then he focused on the academic and foundational skills that anyone aspiring to a corporate position must develop. Major emphasis was placed on interpersonal skills, such as building relationships between employees at different levels of an organization, showing empathy and humanity, accepting criticism well and moving forward, working as a team, communicating clearly, cooperating, etc.
