Policy Objectives
The objectives of this Equal Opportunity (EEO) and Anti-Discrimination Policy are to ensure that:
1. ABBSSM’s employees/potential employees, students and other stakeholders do not face unfair discrimination in the workplace.
2. ABBSSM’s employees/potential employees, students and other stakeholders “sexual orientation”, and “gender identity” are respected and recognized as a personal individual choice and therefore no they will face no bias or social discrimination.
3. Decisions within ABBSSM are free from discrimination, providing equal opportunity based on relevant abilities and merit.
4. The Institute has a zero-tolerance approach to bullying, microaggression, discrimination, or harassment demonstrated toward employees/potential employees, students and other stakeholders on the grounds of sexual orientation and/or gender identity.
5. ABBSSM’s employees/potential employees, students and other stakeholders are encouraged to promote equal opportunity throughout the organization.
6. Personnel actions, academic and non-academic activities are administered without discrimination.
7. Labor laws of the country and statutory academic and administrative notifications from other statutory bodies and are followed and adhered to uniformly across the Institute.
The Institute includes all the tenets of the NEP in its operations.
Anti-Discrimination
1. ABBSSM prohibits adverse discrimination based on religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth, descent, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or age (“Discrimination Characteristics”). The Institute does not condone discrimination against anyone on its premises, whether students, employees, or others.
