Brief Profile

Dr. Madhumita Chatterji is Director of ABBS School of Management (Acharya Bangalore B School.) She was formerly the CEO and Board Member of Ants Consulting and Services. She has taught at Corvinus University, Budapest and other such renowned Institutions during her academic career spanning more than three decades. The faculty of Middlesex University had nominated Dr.Madhumita Chatterji as a mentor for their HRM program.

Dr.Chatterji specialises in Organisational Behaviour & Human Resource Management. She has worked extensively in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Governance & Business Ethics. Her work also covers Cross Cultural Management Processes, Business History and Indian Ethos & Culture.

She has earned MA, MBA with University rank and gold medal and completed her Ph.D from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. She has completed a program in History, Politics and Society from University of Oxford, U.K. She was awarded a scholarship to attend a course on Participant Based Learning at Harvard Business School, USA. Books authored by her are: “The Ksatriyas in Ancient India,” “Corporate Social Responsibility,” “Ethical Leadership – Indian and European Spiritual Approaches” and “New Frontiers in Conflict Management, Peace Economics and Peace Science” She is the Executive Director of the Mahatma Gandhi International Research Centre for Conflict Prevention and Management, Member, Advisory Board of European SPES Institute, Founding Board member of South Asian Alliance of Disaster Research Institutes (SAADRI).

She is associated with various academic and non-academic bodies. She is Involved in research and teaching as senior faculty in various Management Institutes and conducts training for senior executives in Corporates on Team building, Emotional Intelligence, Interpersonal Skills, Counselling Skills, Cross Cultural Understanding and other soft skills.

  • Invited speaker in the prestigious “International Conference: Systems Analysis for Enabling Integrated Policy Making” in New Delhi, India from 10-12 August 2022.organized by The Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), an autonomous body under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) based in Vienna, in partnership with the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Iran National Science Foundation (INSF), the Japanese Committee for IIASA, and the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) of Jordan. This event is also being organized to mark India’s 75 years of independence and the 50th anniversary of IIASA.C
